Airdrie Music Lessons presents our inaugural Community Drum Circle, facilitated by Kevin Arsenault! This event is open to all ages and skill levels. No experience necessary!
What it is: A drum circle is an improvisational group activity where each participant chooses how they participate in the drum circle. You can drum, dance, create, hum, sing, or you can choose to just listen, feel, and observe mindfully. You have the freedom to play however you want, with no pressure to perform in any specific way. It’s a great way to get out of the house and do something fun to connect with other people in the community.
Why participate in a drum circle?
Hand drums will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own djembes, cajons, shakers, and any other hand percussion you’d like to play.
