Junior Music Explorers

In AML’s preschool music program, students learn all the basics of music. Students learn reading, counting, simple music theory, and practical skills of playing piano, ukulele, and percussion.

Junior Music Explorers is “parented” which means that the parents will attend the class alongside their child, and participate in the class. This way, parents are involved in the learning process as well, and can help their child as needed.

Junior Music Explorers is a great class for kids ages 3-5 as it prepares them for elementary school, and eventually joining a dedicated instrument class such as piano, ukulele, drums, or guitar.

Senior Music Explorers

After completing a year of the JME program, some students are ready to join a dedicated instrumental class like ukulele, piano, drums, or guitar; but some students are not ready to make that leap.

At AML, we’ve designed a class just for these students! Senior Music Explorers picks up where Junior Music Explorers leaves off, and the students learn more fundamental skills in reading, counting, and playing a variety of musical instruments.

Senior Music Explorers is “un-parented” which means that the students will participate in class without their parents with them. This fosters a sense of independence and helps students with their personal growth, further preparing them for going to elementary school.
