MEET YOUR DRAMA TEACHER,

TAYLOR BURTON

Winner of the 2023 Emerging Artist Award at the annual Mayor’s Night Of The Arts, Taylor Burton has been active in the Airdrie theatre scene for many years in a variety of capacities.

She is incredibly passionate about the arts and her dedication to all things drama has placed her both on stage and behind the scenes in numerous productions! Her diverse knowledge of theatre has been crucial to her work teaching kids the ins and outs of the dramatic world.

She’s well known for her work with local theatre company, Nose Creek Players where she’s directed, written, acted etc. in various productions over the years. Most recently, her talents were featured once again when she was cast as the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland.

In addition, Taylor has dabbled in TV and movie work, being on set of local game show ‘Rental Rewind’, locally filmed ‘My Pretty One’, and Amazon Prime’s ‘High School’.

Taylor graduated in 2018 with an Early Childhood Development Diploma. She spends her days with kindergarteners, and her nights at Bert Church Theatre where she works as a technician. When she manages to get some free time, it’s spent watching movies, cuddling with her cat, Dale Cooper, and reading books.
